This nurturing Dry Skin Blend #1 has a citrus floral scent with a warm vanilla undertone.
Created with clinical grade essential oils, our skin blends will help you feel good whilst you go about your daily skincare routine, and they'll help your skin cope better with the stresses of daily life.
This blend is all about dry skin, whether it's the flakey patches, the itchy bits or some bumpy red patches, maybe a few lines too. If your skin tends to react like this during the winter months, this is your blend!
This blend not only smells like a gorgeous perfume, it has great benefits for your skin too.
And here's why...
It's because of the properties of these essential oils.
Benzoin (Styrax benzoin) from Siam is perfect for dry skin when it's irritated. The scent is sweet and resinous with a vanilla undertone and has anti-bacterial properties, so if you're prone to scratching or your skin is thinning, this will help prevent it from getting infected. It also has the ability to soothe due to its anti-inflammatory properties, and emotionally it helps ease our worries and to focus on happier thoughts and feelings.
Ho Wood (Cinnamomum camphora) from China is an environmentally alternative to Rosewood which is becoming scarce in the Amazon, due to it's very similar composition. This lovely oil is a tissue generator and is recommended for dry, sensitive and inflamed skin
Ho Wood balances your emotions as well as your skin, calming and uplifting at the same time.
Palmarosa (Cymbopogon martinii) from India is the main ingredient in your blend! Palmarosa essential oil helps with hydrating the skin, balances sebum production and stimulates cellular regeneration. It's recommended for dry, undernourished skin.
Interestingly, its energetics are considered to be cooling and moistening. Emotionally it eases stress, anxiety and emotional disconnection.
Petitgrain (Citrus aurantum) from Paraguay. This oil is best known for its anti-depressant properties, however it is also used as a cellular regenerator which is why I've added it to this blend.
How to use? Add 15 drops to 30ml of vegetable oil and gently apply to your skin. After 15 minutes tissue off the excess. If you like to wear makeup during the day, this blend is best applied at night.
You can also add this blend to water to create a mist spray, to apple cider vinegar to create a toner, to your moisturiser and to your cleanser. I do recommend you do not exceed the ratio of 15 drops per 30ml, otherwise your skin could become sensitive to this blend with long term use.
Freshly made to order and packaged in a green glass bottle with a dripulator top, in a box with instruction leaflet.
